Vienna

Long- Haul Arrival Flight: Depart EWR at 6:10 pm on the 19th, arriving into Vienna at 1:25 pm on the 20th. (One Stop)

Vienna, also described as Europe's cultural capital, is a metropolis with unique vibrancy.

The imperial palaces and uniquely Baroque streets are the setting for Vienna's artistic and musical masterpieces, accompanied by its stimulating design scenes and coffee-house culture.

Vienna is deservedly well-known internationally for the many celebrated composers who lived and worked here - Strauß, Mozart, Beethoven and Haydn. The Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra is one of the world’s best, the State Opera is one of the leading opera houses, and not to mention the Vienna Boys’ Choir.

Though it has a remarkable cosmopolitan atmosphere, it retains a distinctive charm and flair, an effect accentuated by its fine old architecture, its famous horse-cabs (Fiaker), as well as its splendid street-side cafés with their Viennese coffees and treats.

Bratislava

On the morning of the 21st, meet your driver at the Opera and transfer to Hainburg am der Donau.

Here, jump in your very own kayak and spend two hours floating down the Danube to Bratislava. There is no better way to see the region!

Once in Bratislava, enjoy some time with your guide in town, before transferring back to Vienna by car. The full tour lasts around 6- 8 hours.

Bratislava doesn’t provoke admiring swoons; it intrigues. In the midst of Slovakia’s capital, a flying saucer hovers above forest-fringed riverbanks. Its castle presides over a pastel-hued old town, but a concrete jungle looms behind. Despite the march of modernism, Bratislava is green.

No wonder Bratislava feels like a frenetic mix of wild and urban, classic and contemporary: it became capital of newly independent Slovakia only in 1993. Bratislava preserved spires and squares from its 18th-century heyday, but now socialist-era monuments (and an eyebrow-raising cast of statues) have joined the party.

But in a city this exciting, who needs postcard pretty?

Salzburg

Depart Vienna at 6:00 am on the 22nd, arriving into Salzburg at 9:00 am. Upon arrival, head to the meeting place for your Sound of Music biking tour.

The world-famous City of Mozart. The seemingly harmonious mix of art and culture, natural landscape and architecture, and the traditional & modern. All of these things present in one city is what makes up the special charm of this place.

The narrow lanes and broad squares of this baroque city have taken their deserved place on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Besides being the birthplace of W. A. Mozart, Salzburg also happens to be known the shooting location for "The Sound of Music".

The beautiful panorama, the wonderful temptations of Christmastime, and the internationally renowned Salzburg Festival, add to what makes Salzburg a total work of art in its own right, and one that is truly beyond compare.

After your tour, enjoy the rest of the afternoon to explore Salzburg on your own. Then, later that evening, take the train back to Vienna.

Rome

Flight: Depart Vienna at 10:35 am, arriving into Rome at 12:15 pm.

Lovingly named the Eternal City, this is Italy’s largest city and its capital.

This bustling metropolis has been a major influence in the world’s culture and economy for over 3,000 years and, indeed, Rome has it all. Whether you want to visit colossal ancient ruins, cool down from the sun in a Renaissance church, people watch with a refreshing glass of wine in hand overlooking a crowded piazza, stroll through a bohemian neighborhood and shop cute boutique shops, savor some of the best cuisine in the world, or spend a fun night out in the historic center, you can do it here.

Primarily, Rome is an art- and history-lover’s paradise and, at every stop and turn, you will find sculptures, frescoes, and buildings designed by some of the world’s greatest masters such as Michelangelo, Caravaggio, Raphael, Bernini, and the likes.

Within the city of Rome, you will also find the Vatican, a city-state of its own, and the center of Catholicism. The Vatican contains one of the most important churches for Catholics, as well as the Sistine Chapel.

Between visiting countless amazing ruins, museums and churches, give yourself some time to sit down and truly take in the magnificence of this city - preferably with a gelato in your hand.

On the 26th, enjoy a half-day, small-group, skip the line tour, visiting some of Rome's most famous and impressive sites.

Naples

On the 27th, catch the train to Naples and enjoy a day wandering around this bustling little city.

If you're searching for a real Italian experience, look no further than Naples. Let yourself fall in love with the city's southern-Italian hospitality and its outgoing charm. Originally built by the Greeks and later occupied by Romans, Naples breathes history. Its cathedral, the Duomo, and the Castel dell'Ovo, a castle located on its own islet, are awe-inspiring sights and just a couple of the must-sees in this lively city.

Southern Italians love to spend their time out at cafes or hanging out with their friends in the streets and plazas, therefore, it feels like the bustling streets of Naples truly never sleep. The options for dining are endless, and the city is known to be one of the top foodie destinations in the entire country.

What's more, this city is also the birthplace of pizza.. What more could you wish for?
